The Cock and Rabbit

This was another one of those Golden Gems that you stumble across in the Van. On arrival we were offered fresh water, one of those small gestures that make you realise you are in for good things to come. A real community and drinkers pub. We were made to feel welcome by both the locals and also the staff. Clare was delighted when one of the locals compared her to Debbie Harry (In her hay day not now).

Very unique as they have a cafe inside the pub which is open in the daytime. We had a fantastic breakfast in the cafe side using all locally sourced fresh produce.

The pub is also famous as it has featured in numerous episodes of Midsummer Murders.
